EVALUATION

YOUTUBE DOC My final idea was based around somewhere I knew really well. I immediately chose the princess theatre as I knew the backstory to it. My target audience was successful as many people enjoyed ghost documentaries I knew this because afterwards I did a questionnaire and found out people watch and enjoy ghost documentaries.how ever the critics were Adjust the music Don't make the interviews to long My YouTube Documentary went surprisingly well however the lighting in Jess's interview wasn't to great, we had issues with the camera as it had been fiddled with before hand and all the settings such as the filters. We eventually sorted it as much as we could but even the house lights didn't sort the lighting out. When editing I adjusted the brightness and contrast but the quality still looked rather bad so, when doing an interview next time I will work on the lighting more before I start filming to make sure it looks good. When I was editing I found o...

buzzfeed unsolved

Buzz-feed unsolved Is about two guys Shane and Ryan who explore paranormal and haunted places a and make it funny and a joy to watch. Their graphics are timelines and photos also, when talking they have the speech come up on the screen. they make it funny so you want to keep listening  for example when they were talking about Lizzie Borden one of them said   "You don't hear people say nice things about step-mothers" the other said "so they say 'oh my step-mother i'd love to bury an axe in her face'" this would make people want to watch more as its entertaining they also use cartoons to recreate what happened. They use suspenseful music. They use old photos of evidence of Mr Andrew and Mrs Abby Borden's body this is called archival footage Ghost Hunters: Are an american group of 13 go ghost hunting using all the equipment. Their videos are more serious and don't have as many jokes in as Buzz-feed Unsolved do. Suspenseful music when...

Report

BBC ARTICLE: In my BBC Article I feel as if my practical side went well even though I only had fan footage and none of my own. However, the "Written" side of things was not as great. To improve on this,I shall write more in my blog and use examples of how I made my video e.g. how I adjusted audio and how I adjusted the frame size of my videos that i got off YouTube. I will also add any storyboards I made which helped me with my layout for premier pro. With Photoshop it went really well. The layout was good and the editing went well. However the 'Article' was not long enough for a BBC article. YOUTUBE DOCUMENTARY: My YouTube Documentary went surprisingly well however the lighting in Jess's interview wasn't to great, we had issues with the camera as it had been fiddled with before hand and all the settings such as the filters. We eventually sorted it as much as we could but even the house lights didn't sort the lighting out. When editing I adjusted...

smart targets

1- Improve and develop written skills 2- Improve interview techniques 3- Improve Camera skills 4- I want to create a project with a theme based on dance theme To improve my   written skills , I will write more in my blogs and on my scripts/storyboards/screenplays. By doing this, my grades will improve and, I will find it easier to do my interviews and do the editing. I enjoy creative writing which will help me improve and develop my written skills To improve my i nterview techniqu es I will work on the angles I am using in the interview, lighting in the interviews so when it comes to editing the quality will be better. To improve my camera skills I will ask for help and when I camera out I will make sure there is no filters and the Zoom and Focus is set to how I want it. If I cannot do it ask someone to help me. To create a project based more on dance I will talk to my lectures and if necessary use dance anyway and back it up to the theme of the project.
