Film

When we started planning for our film we based it on a psychological horror and wanted to think how it can affect our audience. After a while of planning Hannah said that she read somewhere that if you look in the mirror for longer than 10 minutes without looking away  then your brain starts forming shapes/creatures that aren't actually there. In the film, the main girl is repeating the same thing everyday but is slowly dying each day until the end when she dies. We came up with the idea for a psychological horror through the love of those types of games and films  In our film we have the stereotypical  characters e.g.: The best friend, the ghost and the girl who is obsessed with her looks. We had the friend seem for rational so the film seemed more grounded in reality.   We mainly based the film's 'bad character' around the girl from the ring the character was dressed in a black dress and had her hair in front of her face   With the characte...

Poster

I didn't really have any posters that inspired me however, I wanted a vibe of the movie 'the ring' when making the poster. I started off by googling 'Gothic desks' and found the one that fitted to the theme the most after that, I edited away the watermarks. i googled 'hand held mirror' and ' bloody hand print' as it also went along with the theme of the movie. When making the poster I wanted a font which helped it stand out in the end we chose 'Chiller' it gave the impression of blood. This is an example of the font.  At first, my group came together to give ideas then we went off and done our own posters using our own ideas. We ended up with very similar but different ideas
