Story Structure (rationalising the story structure into real copy)


Headline – Bohemian rhapsody

Sub header – the new fragrance my Queen

Picture? – Image of the perfume, Freddie Mercury and the Queen crest as a water mark

P1: Open paragraph.
    Establish the issue / situation. What is happening in your story, plot.
    Establish the character in your Advertorial who is representational of your target user / reader. Identify them in your story / editorial.

P2: Discuss the solution, the reason why you, the target user NEEDS this product or service or event. Relate this to the story narrative + include selling the product..

P3: Why is this the right product or service or event. Reinforce the value and use of it over the competition –based on your story. Maybe a picture of the product?

4: The end bit. Footer = end punchline to finish with logo and maybe a small picture of the product.

600- 800 words maximum.#










 Idea: Perfume name: The great pretender (spoof but perfume bottle is real)

Video: Similar to a perfume advert but it fits more to the product 




Article: Will talk about the perfume and how the name is based on how Freddie was a 'Great Pretender'. The title will be 'The Great Pretender'.
